We are thrilled to announce that Laughter House will also be joining us for our spring picnic, bringing with them the magical world of comedy, circus & more to the grounds of Coburns.

The theme for this year is "Smokehouse & Barbeque" and we have developed a delicious menu of slow cooked texan meats & sides that will be available on the day.

THE LAUGHTER HOUSE
A wonderful open-air theatre will be showcasing a line-up of world-renowned acts that no one should miss. The shows are designed for everyone, allowing adults and children to share in the joy of laughter. The circus drop zone will be a space for the kids to try their hand at a bunch of circus skills under the watchful eyes of the professional trainers.
THE CIRCUS DROP ZONE
Sit back and relax as your kids try their hands, arms and legs at a bunch of Circus skills under the watchful eyes of the professional trainers. A fun, courageous and challenging experience for children young and old – that’s right the adults might enjoy it as well.
Have fun trying out the 6-metre-high, freestanding aerial rig with trapeze, silks or rope.
There will also be a range of Unicycle, Juggling, Diabolo, Acrobatics, Adagio, Clowning, Hula-Hoop, & Devil Stick performances.
AERIAL SHOWS
A 6-metre-high trapeze rig will be on display in the Circus Drop Zone with a number of aerial performances taking place throughout the day. The shows are an incredible display of beauty, strength and courage on the trapeze. They feature a beautiful mix of contemporary dance and circus on a single point spinning trapeze filled with high skilled tricks, all performed with fluidity and grace.

The Kiki & Pascal Show
The Kiki and Pascal show is the funniest love story of all time. The journey of this unlikely couple is wrapped around a show full of beautifully diverse skills, singing, juggling, contortion, interactive comedy, acrobatics and a surprise magical ending.

The Great Dave
Mixing high level circus skills with character and comedy, this show features his signature trick that is rarely performed outside of The Chinese State Circus…the act of crockery manipulation – kicking cups, saucers and then a spoon from his foot to a balanced stack atop his head…whilst riding a 6 foot unicycle! There are literally only a handful of people in the world performing this trick.
